Faculty Senate

The Faculty Senate serves and functions as the representative, deliberative, and legislative body of the Baylor University Faculties.

Note From the Faculty Senate Chair

The Faculty Senate represents faculty across all colleges and schools at Baylor University, providing a forum for discussing issues related to faculty life. During the school year, the senate meets monthly to hear from university leaders, advise on policy issues, and discuss concerns brought by faculty. Elections for faculty senators are held every spring for three-year terms. To learn more about the role of the Faculty Senate, identify the senator(s) from your college or school, or read the minutes of past meetings, click the relevant links on the Faculty Senate website. Please feel free to contact your representative or any faculty senator with questions, concerns, or ideas.
